The use of bone cement in primary knee procedures is summarised in this chart. Antibiotic-loaded high viscosity cement is the most widely used type of cement recorded in 95% of all procedures using cement.

NB: some figures in 2005 may not add up to the total number of procedures as not all fields were mandatory in MDSv2, the dataset in use at that time.
